Lyric opens up a room, where own experiences, feelings and motions can be expressed free from any formalisms. Lyric is purely subjective, it can be mirroring, free of bossiness or gaining benefit or lobbyism. It just enlightens one single facet of personal experience. So it is mostly welcome and has historically even been allowed at court.
For me lyric is a possibility to paint pictures with words, which may ring to the souls of their listeners or readers. Thus it may lead into an open communication.
God has, as he created people, longed for the relationship to everyone of us. His plan for each of us and for us all together is an encountering between him and his created people in friendliness, love and without any form of fear or guilt (1.Mo 16:13; Lu 15:11-32).
